Presentation of good practice

The good practice is aimed at young people, with the main target group being 16-19 year olds. The programme is implemented in a rural area and aims to develop awareness of mental health and wellbeing. The good practice aims to develop and implement relaxation exercises and time management strategies that help promote mental wellbeing .

During the program, participants work in groups to develop relaxation and time management practices. With the help of a professional, they discover their own strengths and values, and then try out different techniques during a brainstorming session to find the most suitable methods in the field of relaxation and time management, and with them achieve the desired effect.

Non-formal methods are used for implementation , which build on the development of partnerships and group dynamics. Individual and community time management strategies are raised through workshops, group discussions, self-awareness exercises and creative workshops. The topic of relaxation is addressed through yoga, meditation, nature-based activities and stress-relieving games.

The good practice builds on the experiences of the participating organisations from previous Erasmus+ youth exchanges, especially in the areas of stress management, self-development and non-formal education. The location of Kátai Tanya is ideal for nature-based, retreat-like activities that support relaxation and deep learning. The success of the programme is supported by strong international cooperation between the participating partners and local contacts, such as art leaders, facilitators and mental health professionals.

Good practice responds to the current needs of young people, especially the problems of overwork, lack of time and burnout, which are supported by previous research and youth feedback.

The effectiveness of the program brought positive results among the young people: they learned the basics of effective time management, became more conscious in organizing their daily routines, and learned new stress management techniques. They found the workshops useful and introduced concrete changes to their daily lives, such as creating a daily schedule, planning rest time, and digital detox .

Adaptability

me time and relaxation time should not be underestimated . Many young people do not know what this really means. It is worth working in small groups to achieve deeper conversations. The location is a key factor, proximity to nature is the basis for everything.
