Presentation of good practice

supports the development of multilingualism among young people aged 13-19 living in Vojvodina, especially in the area of Zenta . Young people are often not fluent in Serbian, so the program focuses on improving their communication skills, increasing their self-confidence and helping them practice their language skills.

The program is implemented in an urban area and involves the active participation of young people. During the lessons, communication skills are developed through team-building games and group activities. Playful tasks such as quizzes, word searches and situational exercises (role-playing) help young people learn foreign languages in a fun way.

The method focuses on team-building games that promote language learning and the development of communication skills. Young people become more confident speakers while practicing the language in an enjoyable and safe environment.

The program is built on collaboration with local schools and associations and is constantly expanding. It focuses on overcoming self-confidence among young people, giving them the opportunity to express themselves boldly while learning in a supportive community.

The effectiveness has been moderate, but continuous expansion and maintaining the interest of young people are key to long-term success. The results of the program are presented through presentations in local schools and in the association’s youth space, welcoming young Serbian speakers.

Adaptability

It can be easily adapted to other communities if the participants speak the given foreign language. One of the most important lessons is that young people are more open to learning if it is done in a fun, playful way. The lessons build on each other thematically, and each session covers a new topic , ensuring continuous development for the participants.
